The sustainable timber construction kit
At the North German Academy for Finance and Tax Law Hamburg (NoA), civil servants from the tax administrations in Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Bremen receive training and further education. The listed building currently in use at the present location cannot meet today's requirements for "new work" and "new education". Therefore, we are building a new timber system construction on the "Beim Pachthof" site in Hamburg Horn. The new NoA fulfils high design standards and modern requirements for learning and working environments.
For the first time, the serial modular system is being trialled in the NoA project. We developed the system as part of a study together with specialist planners and the client. The prefabrication of the modules ensures a rapid assembly process on site. The building can thus be flexibly adapted to site-specific cubatures and designs as well as individual requirements in terms of size and function. With this innovative system, we are establishing a sustainable, climate-friendly and economical construction method for educational buildings in Hamburg.
