St. Gallen's Dreilindenhang is a fine residential area. It is a quarter of an hour's walk to the city centre and only a few minutes by tram, and the view of the towers of the old monastery and Lake Constance is magnificent. The residential complex of four loosely arranged, staggered buildings respects the natural topography of the slope and breaks up the rigidity of the existing building structure.
Each of the five-storey buildings houses 10 flats, two on each floor. In the two northern, longitudinal buildings, the flats are set end-to-end and open up on both sides along their entire length with loggia-like balconies. In the two transverse buildings to the south, the living areas are orientated around the corner, with terraces and loggias on the valley side. All four are connected by an underground car park and cellars. A wide path with the four main entrances also serves as a meeting zone for the residents.
Brightness and transparency characterise the generous atmosphere of all rooms. The spacious kitchen is fitted with the same white units and a black natural stone worktop in all flats, while the floors in the living rooms are covered with oak parquet without thresholds.
