After studying architecture at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Björn Osmann completed the master’s degree course “überholz” at Linz Art University. During his studies he gained practical experience with Liquid Architekten in Darmstadt, Drexler Guinand Jauslin in Frankfurt and Formhouse GmbH in Darmstadt. He started his career in 2009 as a project and design architect at Lengfeld & Wilisch in Darmstadt and continued it the following year at Dietrich Untertrifaller in Vienna.
In 2013 he moved to the Bregenz office and returned to Vienna in 2017 as Senior Project Manager. Björn Osmann has successfully led numerous competitions, including the Seequartier in Bregenz, and residential complexes. In Vienna he was responsible, amongst others for the project Austria Center Vienna. Since 2019, Björn Osmann heads the Munich and Frankfurt offices of Dietrich Untertrifaller as Associate Partner. He is currently managing the projects NoA - North German Academy for Finance and Tax Law in Hamburg, Metzgergrün Quarter in Freiburg and "Living in the Hospital Quarter" in Heidelberg.
