The basic outline of the elongated building is divided into three sections along its length and the volume is stepped once. To the west, the ancillary rooms are grouped into a lower, slender structure, which is clad in wood on the outside. Adjacent to this is a long, wide corridor with glass doors at the front, which receives western sunlight via a narrow skylight.

Two group rooms and a movement room form the main part of the larger structure and are shaded by the widely projecting roof. The east façade is broken up into a glass wall in which large-format fixed panes alternate with doors. The adjoining rooms separating the classes are visible from the outside through brown-red façade panels. Grey painted cement particle boards protect the thermal insulation on the sides of the building.

The Weidach kindergarten combines knowledge and experience from the previous buildings, which is expressed in a clarified design language and carefully balanced proportions. The extensive projects for Lustenau and Wolfurt subsequently benefited from the empathy gained with the task and the knowledge of operational contexts.
