A residential and commercial building with a total of 110 privately financed and subsidised rental flats has been built in Innsbruck's Wilten district. The ground floor is livened up by prestigious commercial and retail space. The consistent use of robust, natural materials and an extensively greened roof make an important contribution to the contemporary demand for sustainability in residential construction.

We have developed a slender building with a highly structured, sculptural façade made of exposed concrete for this important and prominent urban location directly on the busy Anton-Melzer-Street. The precisely positioned buildings enclose the wide street space and blend harmoniously into the surrounding perimeter block development.

The façade design also acts as sound insulation for the flats behind it. The diverse forms of living with sheltered individual open spaces and floor-to-ceiling glazing offer beautiful views of the Nordkette mountain range. The landscaped inner courtyard creates a quiet space for relaxation and socialising and is continued in a spacious communal area.
