After completing his architectural studies at the Technical University of Stuttgart in 2000, Heiner Walker gained his first professional experience at Kauffmann Theilig Partner in Stuttgart and at LOG ID Grüne Solararchitektur in Tübingen. Since 2004, he has successfully managed numerous competitions and major projects at Dietrich Untertrifaller Bregenz, such as the expansion and transformation of the Festspielhaus II in Bregenz, the i+R Group’s headquarters in Lauterach and the expansion and general refurbishment of the music and congress centre in Strasbourg. Most recently he headed the realization of the TUM School of Medicine and Health at the Munich Olympic Park.

In 2016, Heiner Walker was appointed Associate Partner at Dietrich Untertrifaller Bregenz. He is currently responsible for projects including the Medienhaus Mainz and the Metzgergrün and Kleineschholz quarters in Freiburg.
