Dominik Philipp studied architecture and project development as well as civil engineering at the FH Kärnten in Spittal an der Drau. During his studies, he gained experience as a Project Manager, on site and in planning. In 2007 he started as Project Manager at Dietrich Untertrifaller in Vienna, where he became Associate Partner in 2014. Since 2016 Dominik Philipp, together with Patrick Stremler and Much Untertrifaller, has been CEO and Partner of all Dietrich Untertrifaller locations.
He is teaching “Sustainability in Architecture / Sustainable Construction Management” at the FH Kärnten. Furthermore he is on the Design Advisory Board Lungau, Land Salzburg. Dominik Philipp lectures regularly in Austria and abroad on the topics of digitalisation, BIM and timber construction, change management and agile design process.
