Affordable quality of life and attractive jobs
On the southern edge of the Innviertel market town of Eggelsberg, a mixed-use neighbourhood with offices, shops, restaurants, a daycare centre and flats is being built. Located 37 kilometres from Salzburg, the motto is "affordable, high-quality living and attractive jobs close to the city".
The architecture creates the framework for holistic utilisation. In addition to offices and commercial space, the pub and room rental offer a communicative meeting and meeting point. At the centre is the neighbourhood square with chestnut trees, seating and a guest garden.
Around 3,000 m² are earmarked for childcare. During the first construction phase, two and three-storey buildings in timber construction will be built for up to 80 children.
The commercial buildings
In the north-east of the approx. 15,000 m² site, three multi-storey commercial buildings are being built, which are connected to each other. This structure allows pedestrian access and at the same time shields the residential buildings behind it from the busy road.
The point and terraced houses
Two-storey terraced houses adjoin to the south, offset from each other to ensure privacy. The associated carport with a green flat roof provides sound insulation from the street and additional storage space. The flats, which are set back from the street, have balconies and private gardens on both the east and west sides. The two-stage mono-pitched roof design allows for generous lighting in the centre zone and blends seamlessly into the existing buildings typical of the area.
North of this are three cube-shaped point blocks. Together with the commercial buildings, they enclose the future neighbourhood centre with shared open spaces, guest gardens and a children's playground.
