The low building is elongated and pushes into the flat meadow. The typology of Lauterach's three-part floor plan was also used for this kindergarten. However, there are more group rooms, so the corridor is slightly wider and the entrance is on the northern long side. The double entrances organise the incoming and outgoing groups of children. Thanks to the height gradation of the main and side room rows, the corridor receives light along its entire length via high windows.

The group rooms are arranged under a folded, strongly space-forming element with a pronounced roof projection, characterised by the vertical formwork. The horizontal row of adjoining rooms appears as an angled wall. While the large group rooms are lined up under a single roof and are completely open to the south, the smaller adjoining rooms are more clearly enclosed and are only provided with light and ventilation windows. What is clear on the inside and structurally is only indicated on the façade made of narrow fir boards by the direction of the formwork.
