A residential complex comprising six buildings with 83 rental flats and an underground car park was built on the site of the former power station of the Canton of Thurgau in Kreuzlingen. Compact floor plans allow for flat types orientated on at least two sides. Spacious balconies or gardens are positioned at the corners of the buildings.

Thanks to the internal access, which is supplied with daylight via a skylight, the building could be designed as an economical “four-flats-per-floor” type. The efficient arrangement of the core favours an optimal building services infrastructure and enables bathrooms with daylight.
